Chuck was my lab partner in A&P school; we were stuck together by chance, but became fast friends. He and I made up the majority of the students in our class who were genuinely interested in aviation, and we competed for grades in every course. We were so into it that another student nicknamed us "Captain Turbine" and "Recip Boy"...
I hadn't talked to Chuck in a while... now I'll have to live with the shame of not having made more of an effort.
Rest in peace, Recip Boy. I'll miss ya.
