RV8 on floats

Hello!

This is my first post, but its not especially regular, maybe really a vierd idea.

First of all, appologize for poor english, i?m swede.

I have not begin construction of an RV yet but after years of thinking and planning and in the last time reading the prew. plans, i have decided to get the emp. kit this fall.

I have a lot of questions, but my first one is:
Has anyone thoght about putting a rv8 on floats?
I have read about that canadian guy with a 6 on floats.
Maybe a similar arrangement would work on a rv8 too?

We have many nice lakes here in scandinavia, therefore i got that idea.

Any thoghts are welcome!

The '8 is not that different from a '6 for the most part (aerodynamically) so it's definitely possible, and been done.
