Sensenich prop repitch 85 to 88?

I have a Sensenich fixed pitch prop, 85 degrees. On a 8A with O-360. The prop will go over 2700RPM without any problem. At an altitude of 6000 ft and 2400RPM my max speed is only 149 knots. Im missing the main gear leg upper fairings. Thinking of having prop repitched to 88 degrees?

Don't even think about prop tweaking until you have all the fairings in place and you have had a chance to get good numbers with the plane in finished configuration.

I started with 83 pitch senenich, same #s as you. put on all fairings and rpm/speed came way up. my 85 pitch would turn 2900 @6500/ 158kts, I pitched to 88 lost a lot of climb but cruise is at full power/8500/2575/165kts. I like it-the climb is still super compared to other planes. Cruise is great @2400, 157kts --these #s are just as I remember them but I think they are close. I think I would do the same again. best of luck!
