North Texas - Cheap Gas! KGPM $3.15

Here's the deal. The city (Grand Prairie) put in a self service pump, but has no printer yet. Soooo....

Temporarily, they are there Monday thru Friday 8:00-5:00. You can pump AND get a receipt.

Saturday, there will be someone there to pump, but NO receipt.

It should be a 24/7 operation very soon....

There is a new restaurant on the field called "The Smokin Cajun". The burgers are supposed to be good.

At least 8 RV'ers on the field....

$3.15 ?!?!?

Man, that's a heck of a price - where'd they hijack the tanker of fuel from?

That's almost worth a trip just to fill up....

Nice! GPM used to be slightly expensive (Aviator Air), so this is a good deal. GPM is easy in and out, a Class G towered airport but with friendly controllers. Do watch for inbound and outbound traffic reporting over the marina just south of the field ... DFW/DAL Class B to the north and GKY Class D to the east make for a choke point until you get over Joe Pool Lake.
