Mark your calendars - the first Coulter Air Classic is back on.

The event has been rescheduled for Aug. 11 at Bryan's Coulter Field and will feature aircraft exhibits, air demonstrations and skydiving teams.

The air show was originally scheduled for June 30 but was postponed because of weather.

Karl Preston, the manager of Coulter Field, said the airport will feature several of its planes for the event, including an A-1 Skyraider fighter plane and a Yak-50 interceptor plane. Pilots from Houston and Georgetown are also expected to bring airplanes, he said.

The free event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be free food while supplies last, and some food vendors, Preston said. Prizes will also be raffled.

The last Coulter Field air show was in October 2003, when the new terminal opened.
