Anyone Have Experience With Becker Avionics?

I've been looking at Becker's comm and transponders.
Anyone have any experience with them?
I had a Microair transponder but it never worked right
and had to send it back.

They are well regarded in the glider community. Main drawback has always been considered to be price.

Becker Transponder

I'm using th Becker Transponder in my -4 and it has been trouble free. When the avionics tech checked it he said accuracy was dead on. I'd use it again, no doubt.

Becker and Dittel 2 1/4" radios - GREAT!

I've had either Becker or Dittel com radios in my sailplanes for over 20 years. Never had a problem with either brand. They are great for sailplanes because of their small 2 1/4" size and low current draw. Between the two brands, Becker seems a bit better with a stronger transmission output. Haven't had personal experience but my transponder guy swears by Becker and swears AT Microair.

Becker comm and transponder have been working without trouble for 4+ years.
