Saturday December 9, 2006 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4.00 PM, a group of plots from the Mid-Atlantic RV Wing, the Carroll County, Maryland EAA Chapter and the Sugar Loaf Chapter of the Ninety-Nines are assisting the Central Virginia Ninety-Nines with a charity toy drop at KFCI , Chesterfield, Virginia. The local Ninety-Nines are going to supply low cost homemade sandwiches, chili and other treats for all who fly in.

CHARITY TOY AIRLIFT FOR CHRISTMAS! Richmond area
The Battery Park area of Richmond VA has had their homes flooded not once but TWICE in a short time - September 1 and again October 6 this year. Hundreds of homes were flooded and sewers collapsed. Many homes remain in serious condition. These families are experiencing
serious financial hardship and will not be able to provide much in the way of Christmas gifts for their children. This is where we as pilots come in. We are asked to collect new, unwrapped toys and deliver them to KFCI this Saturday.

The weather forecast is for perfect flying conditions with bright sun and very moderate temps for December. We invite anyone in the area who can participate to please join us.
