All,
N715AB took to the sky this evening for the first time. The flight was
uneventful (a good thing) and everything worked as it was supposed to. The
flight was flow at 3,000 ft, 24"MP and 2400RPM's for 35 minutes. The landing
was smooth and the rollout nice and straight. You've all heard it before but
the feeling of accomplishment makes all the long building hours worth it.
This is my second homebuilt (PulsarXP N359AB was the first) but the joy of
that first flight was a litter sweeter.
I'd like to thank everyone who answered my questions along the way; this
group is a wealth of knowledge.
Keep building and fly safe,
Gary Kremers

First flight report

The only thing that comes close to the thill of the first flight is the landing and roll out at your first BIG air show/Fly in. At least for me it was. That event happened for me this past week at SNF on Friday around noon. My son was the only one that heard the big "Ho-ya" as we were rolling out. A moment not soon forgotten...

Congratulations Gary!!

there is no other feeling like it. we have a tendency to forget what a real accomplishment it is to complete a project like this and then go out and fly the darn thing. People on the outside (nonbuilders), are awstruck that someone could spend years on a such a complex project and we should be too. fly safe. hope to see you at a fly-in someday.
