F-6111 R Or L

I painted over the parts and need to know if the open side goes toward the
front or the back, confused over right nor left ,side.. also I have another
part that I can figure out where it suppose to go its a trianglar part with a bend about 45 degree's one inch from the big end.. any ideas ?
